My grandfather used to teach me this game when I was a little child. I forgot all of its rules but it was a good memory, one of the only ones i have of him
Pretty cool! This is Xiangqi, or Chinese Chess. Looks like the green guy is winning with 12 pieces and 2 chariots still up vs 9 pieces and 1 chariot from red. (Chariots are like the rooks in chess but they're the most important pieces here). The red is pretty weak as pieces look scattered and the General (king) has lost one of the Advisors (bishops).
