AOC Mocks MAGA World Over Epstein Files Infighting: 'Who Would Have Thought That Electing a Ra--ist Would Have Complicated The Release'

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) mocked the MAGA world on Friday as the infighting over the so-called Epstein Files continues, suggesting they are not being released because President Donald Trump is involved.

"Wow who would have thought that electing a rapist would have complicated the release of the Epstein Files?" AOC said in a social media publication.

The lawmaker also reposted a message from Elon Musk's public feud with Trump in June when the billionaire claimed that the president is in the files and that is "the real reason they have not been made public."

AOC also brought attention to a Wired story from Friday, which claims that the video showing the vicinity of Epstein's prison cell the day before he was found dead was edited even though the Department of Justice described it as "full raw" footage.

The outlet noted that the video was modified, likely with professional editing tool Adobe Premiere Pro, and appears to have been assembled from at least two clips. It was then saved several times, exported and uploaded to the DOJ's website, it added.

Experts told Wired that this doesn't necessarily mean that the video was manipulated with deceptive purposes. However, the author noted that it could further fuel the suspicions around the death of the disgraced financier and claims about a client list of his.

The MAGA world has been abuzz about the issue since the DOJ released a memo announcing that the Trump administration would not be releasing any further documents or evidence connected to the death of Epstein, and that the infamous "Epstein List" of his alleged high-profile sex trafficking clients does not exist.

In fact, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino is reportedly considering resigning amid the fallout. Before joining the federal government, Bongino was among the MAGA figures who heavily discussed the topic, claiming there was a cover up preventing from the files going public.

CNN detailed that Bongino got into a heated confrontation with Attorney General Pam Bondi earlier this week. He and FBI director Kash Patel were reportedly confronted about whether they were behind a story claiming the FBI wanted more information released but was prevented from doing so by the Justice Department. Bongino denied that was the case.

Donald Trump is a RAPIST. What kind of world is it where we have a rapist as president but our news outlets are too afraid to say the word?

I like how both racist and rapist fit the headline.

Lol, her replies are full of triggered losers begging Trump to sue her for libel (hint: he won't).

MAGA gets so butthurt every time you point out the unanimous jury verdict finding that Trump is a rapist.
