Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) has revised his opinion on the existence of alleged Jeffrey Epstein files, months after claiming the FBI had uncovered a trove of new documents.

Back in February, Burchett told reporters, "Yesterday the FBI found 1,400 new files."

But Wednesday, the congressman suggested the files may have been destroyed under President Biden. "I think the files existed at one time," he told News Nation. "I think they were destroyed in the previous administration."

Burchett's cover up accusation echoes other MAGA members, who find the seemingly abrupt shift in the White House's position on the Epstein files suspicious.

Attorney General Pam Bondi previously promised full transparency amid a push to declassify the investigation into Epstein's crimes, his associates, and his suicide. But on Sunday, a Department of Justice memo indicated the investigation would be abandoned, and denied the existence of a client list or any previously undisclosed evidence, fueling widespread suspicion of a cover up amid speculation regarding Trump's public friendship with Epstein.

However, Burchett's suspicion is directed not toward President Donald Trump, but the Biden administration.

"What's Ms. Maxwell doing in jail? What did she do? Who did she provide whatever she did?" Burchett questioned. "That's gotta be a question that should be asked at some point."

Asked why Bondi wouldn't disclose that files went missing, Burchett shrugged. "She doesn't have any proof of it," he said, dismissing any intentional wrongdoing within the Trump administration.

"I just think they all got out there, got a little excited," Burchett said. "I don't think they exist."

Okay, so Biden must have been a magician as well as a time traveler to not only destroy these files, but also recreate them, where our current AG was able to have them on her desk for review.

WTF is this timeline?!

Biden snuck back into the office during Trump's administration to sabotage the Epstein files in February? I didn't know the old guy had that kind of cunning and stealth.

Is this another case where he's both feeble-minded and a diabolical genius depending on what kind of scapegoat MAGA needs?
