I heard it takes about 250 million years to go around the Milky Way. Wonder if we’re on that 250 million year path and if we are, that footprint hasn’t made one trip around yet.
This is awesome. You see a mark so rare and so old that the human mind can barely fathom it, yet above it in the sky you can see something inconceivably older every night.
