How many government jobs could have been saved if Trump didn't decide to have a birthday party and used that money for those families? It was never about saving this country money, it was always about attacking Democrats and anything that helped average people.
He wastes money on a level most presidents would not dare to. If Obama had spent half as much on recreation, the Republicans would have combusted on the spot from pure rage.

Well, a lot of Veterans made it clear in this past election, they'd much prefer to fund the cost of Trump's parade. And I'm sure they'll do it again.
