Highest flight Iโve ever been on was 41,000ft. We were flying over the Rockies and just barely above a perfectly flat layer of clouds. The sky was so dark, like OPs pic.
My last flight we went up to around 41-42k feet to get over a major storm front coming back from Vegas. It was a red eye (overnight) flight as well so it truly felt like we were in space lol.
Very cool anytime you get the chance. But to put this into perspective, the International Space Station is roughly 30-33 times higher in altitude / orbit than this highest cruise altitude for a commercial airliner.

It wasnโt much to look at, but it felt cool.
