It’s a pretty life changing experience. Everyone should endeavor to go see it (as a reminder of our past generations collective sacrifice). Puts a lot into perspective, especially now that the world is heating up again…
Here in France, our schools often have a trip organised during secondary school, to visit the beaches of Normandy and, of course, the Allied cemeteries. It's a moment I remember like it was yesterday. Very moving, especially when you realise that they were just a few years older than you.
