There is typically a rule called the rule of thirds, which basically just means pictures look better with the horizon line or vocal point being shifted to a a third of the frame rather than directly in the middle to create motion or draw the viewers eyes across the image. There are other general “rules” artists follow (rule of odds, etc.). I actually like this one split evenly. No one said rules have to be followed and I think this is an example of one that could go either way. Nice photo.
