An alligator spotted by the door to a home in Lee County
LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Residents in Lee County were in for a strange surprise when they got a visit from an alligator, according to the sheriff’s office.
On Monday, the sheriff’s office released video of an alligator outside a home in the Tortuga neighborhood.
The footage shows deputies helping to wrangle the alligator before loading it onto a truck.
“Thankfully, he was secured and handed over to the trapper safely,” deputies wrote. “How’s that for taking a BITE out outta crime?”
