Mind blowing that this was made 50 years ago, the processing power of that whole spacecraft is barely higher than a current day scientific calculator. They managed to design, command controls, and integrate all sort of sensors and a camera that could capture and send a picture beyond our solar system.
People who worked on this project deserve every best scientific awards possible on earth.
I wish they continued the program and launched a few more at every 10 year interval.
