Give a mic to a kid and you never know what they might say.
Georgia GOP Rep. Brian Jack learned that one the hard way as he entertained a group of high schoolers on a recent trip to the nation’s Capitol.
A mic was passed around for the kids to ask Jack questions, and there’s video of the question that left Jack grasping for an answer.
“Why is (Trump) so orange?” one of the kids asked.
“Why is he so orange?” the student, joined by at least one more, asked.
“Uh … you know what, it … it’s your perspective,” Jack said. “It isn’t certainly mine. I just think he has a great tan.”

The question, of course, took off with the president’s haters having a good time with it.
“‘Your perspective’ is exactly why we need leaders who don’t dodge honest questions; colorblind PR isn’t leadership,” one person responded to the video on X. “If you can’t even address why your guy looks like he bathed in Cheeto dust, maybe it’s time for a new rep.”
“Kids say the darndest things,” another responded on X. “Unfiltered honestly probably took Rep Jack off guard. Kudos to the one who asked.”

I love how they could've said something about judging people's looks, or something about how people's choice of cosmetics is their own business, but instead just HAD to show unwavering support for an objectively not "great tan".

the intensity of orange is a visual status of his mental state: unhinged

The Emperor's New Clothes. It took a kid to point it out.
