AOC Tears Apart Republican “Math” on Medicaid Cuts

AOC: The math is not adding up. Their claim is that one million undocumented people are on Medicaid. So why are they trying to cut 13.7 million Americans off their healthcare?

Ocasio-Cortez noted that people on private insurance wouldn’t be escaping consequences, either.

“And if you have a private insurer, don’t worry, you’re getting screwed over too. Because your health care premiums are going to skyrocket from the disaster that is happening from this bill,” the New York congresswoman added.

There will be a MASSIVE increase in unpaid uninsured emergency visits (cannot deny urgent medical care) that will be covered by private insurance (if hospital even survives). AOC is right — mddle class will bear the brunt of these medicare costs via higher premiums. To make sure the rich get their stupid tax cuts. Fuck you Bezos. Fuck you Zuck. Fuck you Tim Apple. Ocasio-Cortez is correctly pointing out House Republicans’ budget plan will gut a social program that millions of Americans depend on, while also taking aim at the GOP bogeyman of Obamacare. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that 8.6 million people will lose access to Medicaid, while millions more will lose health insurance by 2034 as other protections expire. Far from being a “big beautiful bill,” as Trump claims, it will worsen the quality of life for Americans who don’t have any other health care options.

The bill also punishes single parents by making it harder to receive the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, known as food stamps, and gives President Trump unprecedented power over nonprofit organizations.

This is scary as hell. If you get kicked off Medicaid, you are banned from buying in the marketplace? WTF. Seriously, as someone on Medicaid who needs healthcare coverage to literally keep me alive, this scares the shit out of me. I mean, I'd literally have no insurance options since my job doesn't provide it. And there will be millions more like me. WTF are we supposed to do for healthcare?

As she points out, this will affect Healthcare?
