I did 40+ something while in the army. It was for allergy testing with a large list of 40+ things that they were testing me for. The person taking my blood misread the order and pulled a separate vial for each test, when it should have been like several things tested from 1 vial. She and her coworker, both said it was way more than any they had ever done.
By the last few, it was going very slow and they were essentially having to squeeze it out of my arm.

I did 22 at Mayo Clinic when I was getting tested to get on the kidney transplant list back in 2014. Not fun but necessary.
