I once saw a person who had a condition like this at a baseball game when I was young. Literally every inch of skin not covered in clothes looked exactly like this. We forget how lucky we are to have our health. So awful.

I'm not even religious but that stirred something in me. It's compasson. It's a fundamental function of being a good human.
