Typically blood clots result in swelling not this. But damn that ain’t normal & shou,d be checked out ASAP

Former medic here. Drag him to the medics if you have to. Even if this was from a fall or getting hit, and he woke up with it after. Doc would rather be annoyed than your friend be wrong.

Look at how well his sock stopped the blood/bruise from seeping further down. Dang! Perfect line.
