Just more than a week after saying they were “working on it” when it came to a possible third term for President Donald Trump in 2028, Steve Bannon is making some more wild claims.

And this time, instead of being bad news for the Constitution, it’s bad news for Trump.

“We are kidding ourselves if we don’t think Democrats are pulling all stops out to stop President Trump, to take the House through any means necessary, to impeach Trump, start the impeachment process in the first weeks of 2027 and God forbid we don’t win in 2028,” Bannon said on his ‘War Room’ podcast. “President Trump is going to prison just like Bolsonaro in Brazil.

“People are sitting around still with the glow of November 4 and all the inauguration and all the balls, we’re at war,” Bannon continued. “And the things that happened over the past 72 hours if you don’t understand we’re in political warfare you’re sure not awake.”

Whether Bannon’s words prove prophetic or not, they surely are enough to concern Trump supporters. It also comes just more than a week after Bannon made another concerning claim, this time for fans of the Constitution, about Trump getting the third term.

“I’m a firm believer that President Trump will run and win again in 2028, so I’ve already endorsed President Trump,” Bannon said during an interview with NewsNation host Chris Cuomo. “A man like this comes along once every century if we’re a little lucky. We’ve got him now. He’s on fire, and I’m a huge supporter. I wanna see him again in 2028.”

Cuomo, of course, pointed out that Trump was term-limited and asked how Trump could get another term.

“We are working on it,” Bannon said. “I think we’ll have a couple of alternatives. Let’s say that.

“We’ll see what the definition of term-limit is.”

Cuomo asked if Bannon was talking about litigating the issue.

“Because I don’t want people to listen to our interview and say, ‘Bannon is cooking up an insurrection,‘” Cuomo said. “You know what I mean? I want people to get a straight take on where you head is.”

Bannon said he has had “greater longshots.”

“We supported President Trump after the election,” Bannon said. “I realize you don’t think the election of 2020 was stolen. We do. We fervently believe that. When President Trump went back to Mar-a-Lago on January 20, 2021, he was the longest of longshots to return to the White House. We said that day on our podcast, having President Trump’s back that he was coming back not just to win the primary but to win the White House.”

Bannon said that is when they started working on all the policies, including Project 2025.

“This was many years in the making,” he said. “So, we have had greater longshots than Trump 2028, and we have a lot of stuff we are working on there. We are not prepared to talk about it publicly, but in a couple of months I think we will be.”

Cuomo doubled down on attempting to get Bannon to say he wasn’t “attempting a revolution.”

“We are huge believers in Democracy,” Bannon said. “We know how to get voters out. We know how to get low-information voters out to support the president and his policies.”

Cuomo again pointed out that the Constitution “gets in the way” of the Trump 2028 plan.

Trump will not go to prison, there is not enough justice in the world for that to happen.

Bannon might go back to prison after Trump is deposed. It depends on who jumps out of the bronzed Trojan horse first.

Bannon is just saying this shit to rile up Trump's base. They are hoping to push the fanatacism to keep him in power.

This is just perpetuating their propaganda machine.

This is being said to rally his supporters, not as any heinous consequence to be avoided.

This is propaganda in its barest form.
