Why is it surprising that Alabama has lower gas prices? They are near the refineries, this is common. Is this just bait?

That's like 2.50 / gal. I wish the gas in my area was that cheap, it's like a dollar more per gal on avg. I havent seen prices that cheap (consistently) since I first started driving around 2010-2011
