After gas weapons land mines are probably the worst part of war. Unfortunately the soldiers who lost limbs and life’s trying to prevent these mines still doesn’t mean someone will dig them up. It’s the people forced to live with this after fighting is done that’s so cruel. A 5 year old playing should not face the exact same danger a grownup in war sees.

I personally know a guy who blew up on a landmine (w/o amputation, tho) and returned back to the frontline in a few months.
