ranch, causing a young boy to fall off, has been identified and arrested. Authorities confirmed that the suspect, whose actions were caught on camera, was located after a community-wide effort to uncover her identity.

Previously, the Bay Area community was actively seeking information on the woman responsible for the dangerous incident. After the video of the event circulated online, authorities were able to track her down and take her into custody.

However, the boy’s mother, Meri Fuerte, expressed frustration upon learning that the woman did not spend much time in jail.

"I also didn't think it was fair that she made bail in three hours and lived her life free, knowing that she could have caused the death of a person," said Fuerte.

Fuerte shared the difficult week she has faced since her son’s fall.

She explained that although the woman was arrested, she was released just a few hours later after posting bail.

Fuerte had to take time off work to be with her son and speak with detectives.

Ocean View Stables operated the pony ride. The business provides horseback riding experiences on public trails. Business manager Caroline Reed emphasized that while they use public trails, they have strict guidelines to ensure safety and prevent horses from becoming startled.

“We ride them every day and everyone is really respectful. And there's rules about dogs being on leashes. And so, seemingly, our rides are almost always safe. And that just was that situation where there's just an unforeseen circumstance that no one would think someone would walk up and grab a horse's tail.” said Reed.

Reed mentioned that they attempted to find the woman on the trail immediately after the incident, but she had already fled the scene.

Following the fall, Fuerte took her son to the doctor, where X-rays revealed swelling in his right ankle.

The situation has taken a toll on the family, and she believes the entire incident could have been avoided.

What a moron who doesn’t even realize she’s not dead or waking up in the hospital.

The business owner here looks like they’ve done a great job training the horses and handlers and require customers to wear a helmet.

Growing up I was lucky enough to have family with bourses and learned to ride and the basics of saddling and taking care of a horse that has just been ridden. The business has put a lot of work hours into horse training, probably has donkeys and other livestock in the horse pasture for kicking coyotes since they’ve trained that instinct out of the bourses.
