Scientific fact: Money does not equal intelligence

For context:

During his Senate confirmation hearing on February 25, 2025, Stephen Feinberg, President Donald Trump's nominee for Deputy Secretary of Defense, declined to characterize Russia's actions in Ukraine as an invasion. When Senator Mark Kelly pressed him, stating, "They moved tanks and troops and armored personnel carriers across the Ukrainian border. It's a pretty simple question," Feinberg refrained from providing a direct answer, citing ongoing sensitive negotiations and his lack of involvement in the discussions.

Stephen Feinberg is the co-founder and CEO of Cerberus Capital Management, a private equity firm managing approximately $65 billion in assets. At Princeton University, he majored in Politics and participated in the Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC), though he left the program before graduating. Feinberg has been a significant donor to Republican causes and previously chaired President Trump's Intelligence Advisory Board from 2018 to 2021.

His nomination has raised concerns due to potential conflicts of interest, given Cerberus's investments in defense-related industries.

OK WTF with all the gaslighting? why is it so important to push this false narrative? Is this just so the Republicans can justify Russia keeping land from Ukraine?

They may be able to convince stupid Americans that this was the course of history, but the rest of the world knows the truth.
