Президент пригадав ті вимоги, які Кремль висував Києву на початку вторгнення. Москва наполягала на зменшенні Збройних Сил України, на визнанні окупованих територій російськими та обранні нового керівництва країни, яке було б вигідне Путіну.

За словами глави держави, США зараз обговорюють ультиматум Росії, який Путін поставив на початку повномасштабної війни. "Цікаво, якщо ми в найскладніший момент не пішли на такі ультиматуми, звідки таке відчуття, що зараз на це підемо?", – зазначив Зеленський.
Окремо політик пригадав, що жодна країна світу не допомагала Україні на початку російського вторгнення. Президент додав, що допомога від партнерів почалася лише тоді, коли світ побачив, що Путін не зможе захопити Україну, а український народ, військові та президент "нікуди не втекли".
Нагадаємо, що раніше Зеленський заявив, що нічого не знав про зустріч США та Росії у Саудівській Аравії. Ні Україну, ні її європейських союзників туди не запросили.

US states they’re the intermediary for the peace talks and yet they’re acting more like russia’s extension by promising them everything russia wants before any negotiations even start or before even talking to ukraine and europe.

"I am not going to accept ultimatums." — Zelensky made a statement after U.S.-Russia negotiations. On February 18, Russia and the U.S. held negotiations in Saudi Arabia. While visiting Ankara, Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the talks, as reported by 24 Kanal.
What the President SaidZelensky recalled the demands the Kremlin made to Kyiv at the beginning of the invasion. Moscow insisted on reducing Ukraine’s Armed Forces, recognizing occupied territories as Russian, and electing a new leadership that would be favorable to Putin.
According to the President, the U.S. is currently discussing Russia’s ultimatum, which Putin put forward at the start of the full-scale war.
Zelensky also reminded that at the start of the Russian invasion, no country in the world helped Ukraine. He added that support from partners only began when the world saw that Putin could not seize Ukraine and that the Ukrainian people, military, and leadership did not flee.
Earlier, Zelensky stated that he was unaware of the U.S.-Russia meeting in Saudi Arabia, as neither Ukraine nor its European allies were invited.
