Donald Trump has been busy singing some controversial executive orders since he was sworn as the 47th President of the United States, and the Statement Department is now following his lead.
The State Department has issued a new order called the "One Flag Policy" where Pride and BLM flags are now banned from being flown on certain buildings in America, which has led to a backlash from certain groups of people online.
The Trump administration has banned Pride and BLM flags from being flown from any "U.S. facilities" or diplomatic buildings as the State Department issued an order for "immediate" action, according to the Washington Free Beacon.
The Washington Free Beacon obtained the text, reporting that it states : "Starting immediately, only the United States of America flag is authorized to be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestic and abroad, and featured in U.S. government content".
"The flag of the United States of America united all Americans under the universal principles of justice, liberty, and democracy," the statement continued.
"These values, which are the bedrock of our great country, are shared by all American citizens, past and present," the statment read.
Said facilities include U.S embassies, U.S. outposts and other U.S facilities "home and abroad" and there are exceptions in the order when it comes to to two other flags.
The order was issued by the new Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who said there are exceptions to the order when it came to Prisoner of War/Missing in Action flag and the Wrongful Detainees flag, as these specific flags will be able allowed to be flown on state department facilities.
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene took to X to express her excitement for the new order, reposting an X post that released the news and writing : "I'm not tired of winning!!".
X users took to the comments of her post and shared their thoughts on the new order.
"Finally, someone who puts America first! No more of this radical agenda. Trump is restoring pride and strength to our nation!" a user commented.

"Glad to hear this. Don't need to see random flags flying at US government facilities," another commented.
"This makes total sense!! Why would any other flag be flown at these locations?!" wrote another.

Tbf, government buildings SHOULDNT fly anything other than federal, state, or POW flags. No confederate flags, no Trump flags, no thin blue line flags, none of that crap either

So no more MAGA flags? No More Trump Flags?

My understanding has been that they can ban all flags (except the US flag) or allow all flags. No selective bans.
