‘Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero’ has been thrilling us since its release in October 2024. Now, there’s exciting news: the first downloadable content (DLC) pack is arriving soon. This pack focuses on characters from the 2022 film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Among the additions are Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo, two forms we’ve been eager to see in action.

The DLC doesn’t stop there. It introduces a total of 11 new characters, including Cell Max, expanding our roster significantly. Alongside these characters, we’ll get an exclusive costume and three new Custom Battles.

These battles seem to recreate iconic scenes, such as Gohan (Super Hero) facing Goku, a showdown with Cell Max, and Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 encountering Dr. Gero’s Androids.

Mark your calendars: the DLC is set to release on January 23, 2025. For those with Early Access, the content will be available on January 20, 2025. This means we’ll be diving into new adventures very soon.

In addition to the character expansions, a new mode called “Legendary Warrior Face-Off” is being introduced. This mode challenges us against formidable opponents with exceptionally high power levels. The first of these challenges features Broly, promising intense battles ahead.

While the DLC brings many beloved characters, some notable figures like Pan, the older versions of Goten and Trunks, and their Fat Gotenks fusion are absent from this pack. It’s unclear if the new forms of Gohan and Piccolo will be separate characters or transformations of existing ones.

Regardless, the upcoming content is set to enrich our gaming experience, offering fresh challenges and expanding the universe we enjoy.
