God... I remember this. My son's heart stopped a few days after his open heart surgery. We hit the blue button and the room exploded into chaos. There had to have been at least a dozen people in there. I grabbed my wife and pulled her screaming away from his bedside... I told her there was nothing we could do, and we had to get out of the way.

Another boy also hit code blue down the hall, at the same time, so we had doctors and nurses running back and forth between the two rooms. A chaplain showed up to wait with us, in case our son didn't make it. I'm not a religious man, but I do remember being glad that she was there.

My son survived, the other boy died later that week. His name was Drake. I'll never forget it.

Hey I just wanted to say, thank you for the work you do in the medical field. No matter where in the world they are, medical staff are true angels. You rock.

Wife is a “housekeeper “ at our hospital. She cleans up all sorts of these ORs. Crazy what she does, I respect the cleaners for what they have to go through to reset these rooms in the time they have. There is not a droplet anywhere. That includes walls ceilings machines rails frames etc.
