Following a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that according to preliminary estimates, the number of killed and wounded North Korean soldiers in Kursk Oblast exceeds 3,000.

Details: It is noted that at a meeting on 23 December, Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported on the situation on the battlefield and areas of the Kursk operation.

"There are risks of additional soldiers and military equipment being sent to the Russian army from North Korea, and we will have tangible responses to this. Now, according to preliminary data, the number of North Korean soldiers killed and injured in Kursk Oblast exceeds 3,000 people," Zelenskyy said.

The president stressed that it is important for the world to understand that the risk of destabilisation around the Korean Peninsula and in neighbouring regions and waters is increasing in proportion to the growth of cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang.

The transfer of modern warfare experience and the spread of military technology from Russia is a global threat, he added.

Regardless of the numbers cited being accurate, it is a shame megalomania driven military expansionism is still a thing.

Authoritarian rule should have no place in modern societies.

Are they just like, marching across open fields in neat columns? I feel like all I’ve ever seen the NK army do is military parades
