Victoria Hughes worked at a Lakeland, Florida, IHOP since 2013, but that all changed after a chance encounter on November 24.

According to WFLA, a homeless man visited the IHOP that day and said he was hungry.

Hughes felt sympathy for the man and brought him a small stack of pancakes and a water.
