Tensions are rising among North Korean soldiers stationed in russia’s Kursk region due to inadequate food supplies.
The servicemen, deployed as part of a contingent supporting russia’s military efforts, have voiced dissatisfaction over insufficient rations, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reports.
In response, russia has taken measures to address the issue.
Major General Mevlutov, Deputy Commander for Resource Support of the Leningrad Military District, was dispatched to oversee the situation.
Upon arriving in Kursk, he ordered emergency redistribution of individual rations from the reserves of russia’s 11th Separate Air Assault Brigade to supply North Korean troops.
