A couple of US based chains tried this some time ago but abandoned it. Turns out customers don't like higher prices and/or weren't tipping much if any in the first place.
I'm living in Korea now and it feels crazy paying exactly the menu price. No tax calculated only at the end, no tip. If it says 10,000원, I pay 10,000원. So much nicer.

Yelp reviews are all "what an overpriced rip off! I'll never come here again! Greedy."

Joes Crab Shack was one that later reverted back to normal price + tip.
