Northwest Pacific orcas have started wearing salmon hats again, bringing back a bizarre trend first described in the 1980s, researchers say.

Researchers think the orcas sporting salmon hats now may be veterans of the trend when it first appeared nearly 40 years ago.

The initial incident allegedly started with two 13-year-old students “play fighting” with one another, according to the affidavit.

“[T]hey began to horse play in the classroom which caused other students to get involved,” the court document reads.

Police say a student then “informed” the teacher that “their play fight was not over,” according to the affidavit. »
