The NATO Parliamentary Assembly has called on their governments to provide Ukraine with medium-range missiles as a weapon of “deterrence and self-defense,” said MP and deputy head of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense of Ukraine Yehor Chernev, reports UNN.

According to him, we are talking about missiles with a range of 1000-5500 kilometers that can strike at the enemy's strategic depth. For example, Tomahawks.

The Ukrainian delegation managed to convince our Western colleagues to support my proposal and include this item in the resolution of the next session of the Assembly. This decision is the first step that creates a legal basis and gives the governments of NATO member states grounds to make the appropriate decision - said Yegor Chernev.

He pointed out that at the last session of the NATO PA, the Council called for Ukraine to be authorized to strike deep into Russia, thus raising the issue to the political level.

US National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby officially recognized the lifting of restrictions on Ukrainian armed forces strikes on Russian territory with ATACMS missiles. Biden approved Ukraine's use of these missiles for attacks in Russia, despite Moscow's threats.

They said medium range missiles.

Which by definition have a range of 1000km to 5500km

Respectfully, we already knew this. NATO can also fire nukes at Moscow, it doesn't mean they're going to.

Anything but Tomahawks that would fit into that group?
