Since Trump's felony conviction will probably be thrown out, and the other two felony indictments will probably disappear, this is most certainly justice denied.
Between him and McConnell .. those two alone have changed the course of this country. McConnell with SCOTUS and refusal to convict. And Garland for his slow walk that led to the clock running out. Fuck these two.
There are simply too many layers of failure in this scenario to point the finger at one person or institution. But yes, the US justice system is deeply flawed.
