One of my favourite flag photos from that day was someone flying the country of Georgia's flag. I don't think that was a passionate Georgian-American making a case for his fellow immigrants' place in Trump's future autocracy. I prefer to imagine someone from Georgia got all fired up about, "This is just like, 'States Rights!' It's the next Civil War all over again!" then googled and bought a flag thinking it was his state flag and being too dumb to know the difference. (Or maybe, just maybe, he thought both options were acceptable and went for the one with red crosses all over a field of white as being closer to his beliefs than the actual state flag....)
