I used to work as a custodian at a larger church, around election season we went along the property lines and removed political signs twice a day.
I’m not saying this church isn’t putting them up, or allowing them to be, but they were often put up by other people thinking it was okay. My understanding is the pastor condemned the practice from the pulpit. It never stopped happening as long as I worked there though.

I really wish they would strip the exemption from churches that violate and investigate churches more rigorously for infractions.

Report it. That's how they lose said tax exemptions.
