Donald Trump’s MAGA supporters tried to crash Vice President Kamala Harris’ rally at the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse on Thursday, and the Democratic presidential nominee burned them.

When the commotion started, Harris smiled at the disrupters and said, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally.”.

Harris has been needling Trump about his rally sizes for months, and she got under Trump’s skin in their debate when she challenged people to attend his rallied.

Her schedule reflects the Democratic nominee’s focus on her most likely path to victory over Republican candidate Donald Trump.

She’ll drop by a business class at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, then hold a student rally at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Biden has approved $175 billion in student loan forgiveness

Another round of forgiveness was announced Thursday, bringing the total amount of student loan cancellation to more than $175 billion for nearly 5 million people since President Joe Biden took office.

More than 1 million of these student loan borrowers received debt relief through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, which promises loan forgiveness to public-sector workers – like teachers and nurses – after they’ve made 10 years of qualifying payments.

Thursday’s announcement impacts about 60,000 borrowers who are now approved for approximately $4.5 billion in student debt relief under PSLF. »
