My wife and I signed up for a lottery to be extras for the taping of one of the seasons they just filmed at Foxwoods but they give you very little notice if you're picked. We were emailed on a Monday and told we could come on Tuesday morning at 8:00 AM to watch them tape some of the season and be fake diners (we wouldn't be fed by anyone on the show, and they actually encouraged us to bring our own food and drinks).
We both had to work and couldn't make it, unfortunately. Beyond seeing Gordon, I would have loved to see how everything is filmed. The behind the scenes stuff always fascinates me.

It’s not everyday you get to see somebody use an honest to god flamethrower. That flame went waaaay farther than I’d ever guess.
