My County has a few of these. They don't install more of them, too hard to maintain, too many leaves fill it up quickly.

At first i was like. Seem pointless they fill up too quickly. Then other other hand. If they fill up quickly it's one of the fastest ways to remove trash from the ocean. So seem like pretty cool idea where they can be maintained.
