Donald Trump emphasized the “power” of the presidency Friday when asked, in a discussion about transgender children, what he could do if he gets back into the Oval Office.

“Well, you can do everything,” said the GOP nominee at an event in Washington, D.C., for the far-right Moms for Liberty group.

“[The] president has such power, it does. It has such power.”

His response was prompted by Moms for Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice, who sought Trump’s reaction to what she described as an “explosion” in the number of trans children.

His remarks come after the Supreme Court ruled last month that presidents have broad immunity from criminal prosecution for official acts.

Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ campaign shared a clip of his comments to social media. “Trump fantasizes about his Project 2025 plan to take total control over Americans’ lives,” her campaign wrote, referencing the Heritage Foundation-led policy blueprint for a new Republican administration.

Justice: Let's talk about some of the things that you might be able to do as president.

The GOP candidate has pushed dictatorial talk on the campaign trail over the past year.

Yes, this was his idea of what the presidency was before he was elected, and he has now gotten the Supreme Court to back him up. A second term would be the end of representational democracy in the United States and that is the goal. Republicans always went along with the "democracy" thing because they didn't think they had any choice, now they see the real possibility of ending modern America and installing a theological (to keep the base happy) oligarchy (because it will gain them the most money). "No need to vote again" vs "we won't go back". Vote. Or else.
