I was really happy when my Mom and Dad danced together at my wedding (they had been divorced about 20 years at the time). It was really sweet, and on a dare from my Stepfather my Dad actually drank some champagne from my Mom’s shoe! 😆
People are absolutely blown away by the fact that I don't hate my ex wife. It's like they forget that you loved that person at one point and sometimes things end. I'd argue that it's healthy to let the past go and be civil with each other, especially if no physical or emotional abuse occurred.
