if I was one of the many electrolyte companies on the market (LMNT, Lytes, LiquidIV, WaterBoy, etc)... I'd be planning to setup near entrance of these things and giving out free samples.
So they want to deport millions of farm/construction workers because they are taking their jobs, but they're passing out in droves from simply standing? These people wouldn't last a day picking fruit
GLENDALE, AZ — More than 100 people were contacted by Glendale emergency crews related to heat-related illnesses while waiting to get into Desert Diamond Arena for Friday's rally being hosted by former President Donald Trump.
Glendale fire officials tell ABC15, "We have evaluated, treated and transported to local medical facilities many individuals for various reasons which depleted our ability to respond in a timely manner."
Officials later confirmed they made contact with more than 100 patients at the event.
Temperatures outside easily exceeded 100° as people waited to get into the arena in Glendale.
ABC15's Nick Ciletti was at the arena Friday as people waited to get into the arena. He saw several people receive medical care as they were in line.
There were tents from what I can see but it looks like no one bothered to bring them water while they were queuing. Here's another link that shows people lining up outside even overnight... I can't really see how the line was managed but just based off of the fact that so many people were dealing with heat related illnesses I very much doubt there was any attempt to pass out water.
