Clinton, who turned 78 on Aug. 19, joked about his own age during his remarks before adding: "The only personal vanity that I want to assert is that I'm still younger than Donald Trump,".
Elsewhere in his remarks, Clinton also alluded to Trump's seeming obsession with crowd size, adding to a joke made by Barack Obama on Tuesday night.
Clinton also urged the audience to listen to Trump's words when he speaks, saying, "The next time you hear him, don't count the lies.
"When Kamala Harris is president, every day will begin with you, you, you, you, you," he added.
