Estimates by the Pentagon's intelligence agency show that Ukraine still does not have enough ammunition to match Russia's ability to fire about 10,000 artillery shells a day.
“Ukrainian forces remain capable of defensive operations but won’t be able to launch large-scale counteroffensives for at least six months,” the report said.
At the same time, Russia has adopted a strategy of depleting Ukraine. The occupying forces can maintain a buffer zone but lack the strength to "threaten a deeper advance into Ukrainian-held territory, such as Kharkiv city."
The report also mentions Ukraine's success in using the ATACMS missile systems provided by the United States. The Pentagon mentions how the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit several key Russian military targets, in particular in Sevastopol and Crimea.

Let's face it, the Ukrainian strategy of bringing the war to the Russian people, could be the most effective use of their resources. Making the Russian media and locals feel threatened, makes them uneasy. While at the same time, it takes the wind out of the sails of the Russian political propagandists, that continue to be under Putin's thumb. Having to report on the deep incursion into they're sovereign country is a stark reminder of Putin's ineptitude.

Give Ukraine more ammo and platforms, I guess.
