One time, a coworker needed a shift covered due to an emergency, but I couldn't cover it myself. I spent around 30-45 minutes calling other employees to see if anyone could help out. Someone finally said yes, so I called the coworker back to say they didn't have to worry about it.
They were pretty tearful on the phone, thanking me, and I spent the rest of the week feeling really damn good about being able to help someone like that.
I can't even imagine the feeling a person would get, knowing that their actions helped facilitate the return of someone's family member that was being held captive.

He looks and sounds a little better generally since he dropped out. Even though he's still the president, that must have been a huge burden lifted.
