I don’t know when this was taken, but this is how some of my dementia patients drink.
Their fine motor skills are deteriorating and they place more emphasis on their large motor skills to substitute (Thus, bending of the elbows). Both hands must be used. Then they have to purse their lips and essentially “aim” toward the top of the bottle.
They no longer have the spacial awareness to properly judge distance.
