Edit: You know what I find so impressive? Nobody was whinging and pissing and moaning about Kamala like they are THE DAY AFTER she announces she'll run. Up to this point it was all "Biden is trash" and "Biden is killing America" and "Let's go Brandon" without a peep for Harris. But NOW that they've got a SHINY NEW TARGET, the propaganda must flow! You're right, it shouldn't be a contest. Trump should be way ahead. And yet here we are having to explain how the Democrat party just led a coup against a sitting president effectively nullifying the American people's vote in the Primary. This last one by wind_power is the only one I can see some sense in. The DNC has absolutely abandoned their voter base and I would, in a heartbeat, support an independent candidate like Bernie over another milquetoast yes-man suckling at the teat of the establishment. But I can't see how anyone would think THAT's somehow WORSE than a candidate who is openly trying to dismantle democracy and has naked disdain for the people he wants to rule. u/wind_power if you ever want to talk about this I'm open to it.
