According to the Tampa Bay Times, when he got out of prison, the state "said he was owed nothing," even though Florida normally pays exonerees $50,000 per year they were locked up. It took years, but a lawsuit finally paid him millions.

The real killers turned out to be serial killers. The only reason the serial killers were finally identified was because someone finally found and tested the DNA that got this innocent man released.

I always wondered what happens to these people who were found guilty, but then found innocent, who helps them afterwards and what kind of help?

Man this hit me for some reason. You only get one life and this man lost half of it for something he didn’t do. No compensation is enough.
