GREENVILLE, NC (WNCT) — Popular YouTuber MrBeast took his philanthropic efforts to Jamaica, El Salvador and Argentina to give away 100 homes to families in need.

One family living near the top of a mountain in Jamaica was in dire need as the home they were living in was unstable and could have collapsed on them at any moment. The dilapidated, unstable home was replaced with a brand-new one. The new house came furnished and had a tank for running water and electricity.

Another Jamaican woman’s home was unsafe as the roof flooded every time it rained. In El Salvador, flooding from one river destroys hundreds of homes every year due to flash flooding in the rainy season. MrBeast and his crew built rows of homes in a safer area a few miles away. Families wore blindfolds leading up to the big reveal of their new homes.

In that same El Salvador community, MrBeast and his crew built a soccer field for all of the neighborhood children to play on and, of course, Feastables bars were handed out to them as well.

The crew then went to Argentina and Mexico to build houses for people in needy communities. From there, Colombia was the destination to build homes for families whose homes were destroyed by a tornado.

Another family in Colombia had its only means of transportation break down. So in addition to the home, the crew gifted them a brand-new motorcycle to get around. Bicycles were also given to all of the children in that village.

I know roughly 3 things about Mr Beast.

1, he’s crushing the YouTube game. 2, some people really seem to hate him. 3, nearly everything I read about him, is him doing something really fucking decent when no one else with money seems to be. And yes, I’m sure he probably makes money from posting content about his good deeds, but I just don’t care. People need help. He’s helping.

Can I just say how crazy it is that he has so many languages subtitled and dubbed over for his main channel videos. I mean, the voice of Naruto is his Japanese voice.

I wanted to find something to complain about during the video and it made me realize how jaded I've become and no matter his reasoning what he did was a net positive for the world and the people that now are able to sleep in a safe home
