Nigel Farage has doubled down on his claims that the West provoked Russia's invasion of Ukraine after he was slammed by rivals Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer for the comments.

Writing in The Telegraph, Mr Farage said: “I am not and never have been an apologist or supporter of Putin.

"As a champion of national sovereignty, I believe that Putin was entirely wrong to invade the sovereign nation of Ukraine.

Mr Farage's comments put him at odds with the leaders of other major parties, including the Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer.

A Swiss court has handed jail sentences to four members of Britain’s richest family for exploiting Indian staff at their Geneva mansion.

Prosecutors argued that the Hindujas paid their staff a pittance and gave them little freedom to leave the house.

Namrata Hinduja’s lawyer, Romain Jordan, also pleaded for acquittal, claiming the prosecutors were aiming to make an example of the family. »

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill on Friday that makes it legal for people to kill “crack bears” in self-defense.

HB 87 allows people to use lethal force against bears as long as certain criteria are met.

DeSantis did not comment on the bill specifically, announcing it in a news release alongside 13 other bills he signed. »
