Just started thinking about my gran and how she must have felt about her family. She was born in the then South West Africa (Namibia) in Windhoek. She left there in 1931 and moved to South Africa. She passed away in 2008 at the age of 97. And in all those years she never saw her brother and sister again. 77 years no contact with her family, I just wonder how different her life or the rest of the family would have been had we ever known them.
