Look, it’s simple, Russia is invading, when they leave, the conflict is over. Ukraine will shore up its borders because what reasonable people wouldn’t after being invaded, but the conflict will be over. Invading then pearl clutching over the nation you’re invading fighting back is absolutely absurd
