Bought a Sony version of this back in the 90’s, still have it hooked up in my garage, still works to my neighborhood’s discontent. Only difference now is it has a Bluetooth adapter added, cause you know, upgrades.
Man seeing this brings backs so many memories. Growing up my dad suffered from a lot of health issues and chronic pain. One of the only things that helped soothe him was music. I must've heard him play Fleetwood Mac and Blondie thousands of times on that thing. I still don't really know what any of the numbers mean, but just looking at the image I can hear Landslide.
He died a little over 10 years ago, soon after I turned 20. Now I have an 8-month-old daughter and we're about to experience our first Father's Day. How time flies, miss you, Dad.
